Office Hours
Routine office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm.
We do offer seasonal extended hours as needed for both sick and well visits.
Premier Pediatrics’ telephone is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. After regular office hours, messages may be left with the answering service. A pediatric nurse will return your call, assist you with your concerns, then relay the message to your provider.
Saturday Clinic
Saturday clinic is available for acutely sick patients only from 9am-12am during our peak sick season from October through March.
Come Prepared
For all well check appointments, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
Your check-in time for well checks will always be 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes past your check-in time for any scheduled appointment (sick visits or well checks), you will be asked to reschedule.
In order to better serve our patients, it is important that we have current working phone numbers and updated address and insurance information.
All co-pays will be collected at the time of your office visit.
If you are unable to make your appointment for any reason, please give us a courtesy call to cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment time.
Medicaid and CHIPS Recipients
Please be sure to select a provider prior to your scheduled appointment to ensure coverage for the office visit. If a Premier Pediatrics provider is not listed as your PCP, you will be asked to sign a waiver accepting payment responsibilities in the event that your insurance does not cover the visit.
Medication Refills
Medication refills are completed during normal business hours. We do not call in antibiotics over the phone. All refills on ADHD medication will have a 24 hour turn around on your request.
For a prescription refill, please have your pharmacy fax a refill request to us at (903) 238-9185.
Forms and Medical Records
We will be happy to assist you in completing necessary forms/paperwork or forwarding your child’s medical records to another office. Please allow a one week turn around for all medical records and any document requiring a provider’s signature.
Electronic Medical Records
At Premier Pediatrics, we utilize an electronic medical records system to better serve our patients. This system allows us to send appointment reminders, labs and x-ray results, and referral information via email. If you wish to receive information electronically, we will need your current email address. Please see one of our staff members to update your contact information today!
In Case of Emergency
Emergency medical services are provided at both Good Shepherd Medical Center and Longview Regional Medical Center. If your child requires emergency services, please go to the closest Emergency Room or call 911. If you are unsure if your child needs to be evaluated by the emergency physician, please call our office for advice.
